Hi, Tim Soper here. I want to thank you for visiting my DISCOVER! Channahon IL Homes website and share a little something about myself.

In creating this website, I settled on the tagline "In The Know" to try to differentiate this site from the thousands of real estate and real estate agent sites that are returned when you search for Channahon Real Estate on Google.

But "In The Know" isn't just a tagline, it summarizes very clearly my personality and my approach to real estate. It is who I am.

I doesn't mean that I know it all or am the smartest guy in real estate because I'm not. What it captures is that I ALWAYS want to know the why or the how. Those who know me best, know I am driven (and I can drive those around me nuts) with solving puzzles, knowing the right answer, or understanding how something works.

And real estate is the perfect calling for that OCD/ADD personality such as mine. Every deal is a different opportunity to solve the puzzle of finding the perfect home or getting the right loan. It is the challenge of saving a homeowner from foreclosure or keeping a deal alive when the process has gone off the tracks.

I take pride in having completed a short sale with an initial offer submitted to my homeowner 10 days before the Sheriff's Sale or having had a flood plain designation removed from a home 3 days prior to the second closing of my career.

I owned and operated a gymnastics school in Morris, IL for 6 years.
I am a former Vice President and Director of Operations for a start up company in the Women's Wholesale Footwear Industry. In our first year we achieved $20 Million in sales.
I worked as a New Homes Salesperson in a townhome community in Aurora, IL. In the community's 1st year, my partner and I sold 75+ homes for over $15 Million in sales.
I am the proud father of 2 great kids.
I am a resident of Morris and have lived in the area since 1994.
